Day 28. 28!!! We can't believe it has come to an end 😭. Yesterday, Isobel was teaching Toby the names of body parts, and he now has 2 new words! 😍 We are so excited for the future. Tomorrow is a busy day with assessments, EEG and MRI and then the flight home on Wednesday 💙🇲🇽

Wow! It's been a year since we first took Toby to NeuroCytonix in Monterrey Mexico 🇲🇽

We took a leap of faith and travelled halfway across the world in the hope that a pioneering new protocol called Neurocytotron could help Toby talk. There were no guarantees.

12 months on and we have seen massive changes in Toby as a result of the therapy.

He is now fully continent - which is life changing for him.
He is more vocal and able to say more words.
His severe challenging behaviour has significantly improved.
His drooling has decreased.
And we seen improvements in his fine & gross motor skills and cognitive skills.

The last 12 months have been life changing.

This time last year Toby could only say 5 words.

Due to his rare genetic disorder called Syngap1 he was non verbal with a severe learning disability. He was also still wearing nappies/diapers due to incontinence.

Then we made 2 visits to NeuroCytonix in Monterrey Mexico for Toby to go on the Neurocytotron machine.

He is now fully continent, saying more words, including "Bobby", and his severe behavioural issues have significantly reduced. His cognitive and motor skills have also improved.

We've had Toby's school report and Annual EHCP Review, both of which are the first reports since his 2 visits at Neurocytonix 🇲🇽
