@jetskitosway2 Rules

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@troy2117 @MorbidKnowledge Wild indeed! But hey, it worked! It’s now one of the most iconic scenes of all time

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@troy2117 @MorbidKnowledge Hitchcock wanted a massive amount of edits (to make the scene feel disorienting and so he could “suggest” violence without actually showing any). So he needed a massive amount of different camera setups (78 - I just looked it up to make sure)

@loonzxi @Pernukliran Hell yeah. Psychocandy

CANNES 2026 Competition Line-Up:

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@sluttyesque One of the most bizarre perspective shifts for me

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@zakfilm Is this an order from 1-20? Or is this in no particular order

[FilmPersona @FilmPersonaX]

Just watched Werner Herzog's version of "Nosferatu." Why did no one tell me this was the BEST version???

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@iamagodard That it is

[FilmPersona @FilmPersonaX]

For anyone who hasn't seen a film by Ryusuke Hamaguchi:

"Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy" - an anthology on modern loneliness and connection

"Drive My Car" - a three hour intimate epic about breaking down barriers of communication that separates us

"Evil Does Not Exist" - an ambiguous meditation on humans' relationship to nature and each other

@Steven_Hyden @ringer Steve- shook your hand at the Tulsa show. I’ll be in Tyler TX to see the man himself. How do you, personally, decide which venues to see him at?

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@nflrums @dak @dallascowboys @jonmachota @SSN_Cowboys @SlaterNFL @fishsports @clarencehilljr These are great rumors

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@staticbluebat Fucking love Death of a Ladies man and you put it so succinctly why it works

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@troy2117 @PeriklesGREAT lol right. Nobody is forcing you to eat with your hands or use chopsticks. Why are you so worried about it?

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@troy2117 @PeriklesGREAT Yeah who cares. It’s a different culture dude. I’m sure there’s things we do that are weird or gross to other cultures

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@troy2117 @AllProHufanga Yeah really. Plus, if we want to play the stats game, Stroud has a 93.4 on the season, while Mills has a 83.7. So, statistically, Mills is performing worse than Stroud, despite having a 3-0 starting record

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@troy2117 @FunMovieTVFan Ah yes. I remember you showing me that at your house

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@Spazmodlc The Rolling Stones? Five Seconds of Summer?

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@Art_hropod Great observation

[Trøy Smøthers @TroySmothers]

@coldcallsniper It would be a very similar vibe actually
