@kaleshikudi Mark Wahlberg, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Matt Leblanc (?!?). Is this “Every Girl” actually a 52 year old divorcé living in suburban Long Island?
@JBOOVII Greetings. Since this was RT into my TL, I lack any real context. The French govt is promoting investment under the slogan “Choose France” (why in English? 🤷🏻♂️) & I assume the poster intended “_Lose_France” as a contrast. In fairness, actual English speakers make this error.
@number_pizza111 Well gli Stati Uniti d'America is decidedly older than the nationstate of Italy and it never developed a “single city syndrome”. Much, I will assume, to the annoyance of fair citizens of New York City.
@ajlamesa As of yesterday the Lenox station had one of the gates locked into an open position. Once I had paid my fare I went down into the station and double checked that the bus level “free entrance” was still open. When I got off at Civic Center - one of the gates was already shattered.
@Jack_Raines I am but a very occasional tourist to this fair city; but from the map- surely the Answer must be D. Sector D- the home of the apparently notable Two Boots Pizza West Village and Sanuki Udon. And the grand vistas of Domino Park.
@Sean_Murphy@Dan_Furman I would hold to that credo but…. For BYU, Notre Dame, etc -sure abolish their Chemistry dept and pour it into football. A societal poor choice but they are private. But for the tax funded state schools (UCLA, GT, AL, etc) should be accountable. 2ndly -this is NCAA not USports
@arram “her vote in the primary doesn’t matter …and the general is decided in March” So this imagined 34 year old Denver teacher is unhappy with the outcome of the Democratic Primary? The candidate wasn’t left wing enough perhaps?
@nexta_tv@jarvis_best I’m obviously no journalist or even a wordsmith but have we missed a step If the @nypost headline isn’t something like “Bell Knockers in Venice”
