Absolutely delighted to be flying @AerLingus as my suitcase zip broke on my suitcase. Asked airport staff and no one could help until I got to the Aer Lingus desk in Lanzarote. They directed me to somewhere I could buy straps to secure it AND helped me put them onto my case. 💚💚

Today is St Brigid’s Day. Here are some images of Brigid of Kildare (d.525)starting with her presence alongside Patrick & Columba in the Central Lobby at Houses of Parliament, Westminster. That mosaic was unveiled in 1924 by the Irish nationalist MP for Liverpool, TP O’Connor.

@nilerodgers If you have been fortunate enough to have a loving and kind mother (which I believe you had)I think a little part of your heart dies too. My mother died a few years ago and I know that pain. What is important is that you have been a great son.Please take comfort in that.
