@Uber when a minor is in the car. There are more details, but I don't want to share them on a public forum because of my son's age. I hope someone will get back to me. BTW...your customer service agent refused to transfer me and said his name was John Paul. 3/3
@Uber the driver's genitals. It's captured on video. While we got a refund on the ride, I'd like someone to reach out to me and have this matter resolved. Otherwise, I can just post the video. No driver should be urinating on a yard in the middle of driving, especially 2/

Best line of tonight: after watching people scream in Times Square at 11:57, my oldest turned to me and said, “You know, that’s my personal hell.” #definitelymykid
@LealaHolcomb Also I can give you contacts for specific activities. After 10 years here I know the Frederick community pretty well—both MSD and non-MSD. It’s definitely a gem of a town here.
@LealaHolcomb Definitely attend community events. Looooots of them for all walks of life in Frederick. I make it a point to go out for lunch at least once a week if I can with friends or even by myself.

@HeidiGASL @tseiluj Feel free to get in touch with me directly to discuss the incredibly difficult logistics of getting this info…it was unbelievable. So. Much. Runaround.
@TrudySuggs, @jmhenner, @DeafHistorian, and others have discussed this in vlogs, articles, published papers and elsewhere.
If there are other folks who should be mentioned, please add them here.
In conclusion, all of this backlash is shitty and needs to stop.
Be better.

Here, with the interpreter going on national platforms, is that deaf people who have spoken out are receiving hate messages from strangers.
But it’s another example of the same kind of backlash deaf people experience all the time when self-advocating

In some cases, that person’s future interpreting requests will be handled more slowly/sloppily, or are sometimes ignored altogether because it’s “too hard” to find an interpreter who meets the deaf person’s needs
