This H1B argument is insane. What in the hell are you people doing??? You remind me of liberals using Media Matters style arguments. I feel like we are being engulfed in the same idiocy as never-Trumpers. You extreme ‘never-Elons’ are no different in your actions. AT NO TIME has Trump or any of the leadership said ANYTHING about eliminating ALL immigration. The goal has always been to eliminate ILLEGAL immigration.

My summary. 85,000. 65,000 under a cap with an additional 20,000 for people with a masters degree or higher. Visas can be renewed and extended, so that isn’t the entire number at any one time. Estimates are that there are currently 583,000 working here under H1B Visas.

I was going to get into the IT industry stats but I won't her because Elons statement and percentage is for engineering, not IT. Yes, there is a problem with IT, and the greatest number of people currently bitching about the H1B issue are IT. Anything IT that you see as a ‘future plan’ from his one post is pure fantasy.

Most of the arguments are ‘Look what has happened’. ‘Look what’s happening now’. ‘Look at the broken system.’ THIS IS WHY WE ELECTED TRUMP.

Is everyone acting like Trump is going to do nothing about the border? No. You are using the same ‘Look what has happened’…’look what’s happening now’ argument as the border but unlike ‘we are going to fix it’ you’re acting as though nothing is going to be done.

Yes, there is a problem. People have mentioned ‘reforming the system’, just like ‘fixing the border’. What reforms? Some things that have been mentioned. Lowering the caps. Increasing skill requirements. Penalties for abusing the system and using it to replace workers for lower pay.

And as far as ‘Trump is giving in to big-tech because he is speaking to them’. What an asinine statement. ‘Keep your friends close, and keep your enemies closer’. And trying to make some enemies your friends doesn’t mean giving in to them. He could be preparing them for a reduction in tech-Visas or an increase in skill requirements. We don’t know. The people making the arguments DON’T KNOW JACK.

Out at 12:30pm in the heat. We got in line on the pavement at 1:30pm. Got to the checkpoint probably around 6:00pm. Chargers and fans WEREN'T ALLOWED. I would have had to toss $150+ worth of chargers, and had a dead phone.

I have chased fireworks all over Texas, Oklahoma, and Nevada for 28 years. I have NEVER missed good fireworks shows.

I planned this trip during the campaign. The most expensive vacation we have ever taken. Blown.

I would have understood the weather issue. Not the chaos of incorrect lists, different advice from police and national guard, etc.
