@ECOWARRIORSS “Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.”
-Charles Darwin
In any scientific endeavor, the only virtue more important than honesty is humility. Climate alarmists know neither of these.
@DanCady@DrKutney That was a great investment of many hours her time, and we’re all better for it somehow.
I put 10 minutes into this diagram, and it is more accurate and useful. Read it and it will save you money. You can fire your therapist and thank me later.
You’re welcome.
@DrKutney@DanCady I did not. I just called you out on your poor English usage.
I know the world is counting on you to save the planet, but that’s no reason to abuse the English language.
Do better Jerry.
@DrKutney@DanCady It’s poor English usage, and I called you on it.
Do better. Come up with a better religious mantra. Remember, the planet is relying on you to save it.
You’ve got this, Jerry.
@DrKutney@DanCady Of course you didn’t notice that the first hit article is centered on defending the use of the term, since the author knows it’s a ridiculous label, devoid of the rules of English usage.
You clowns made my point for me.
You are so bad at this.
Sounds like a hard no on a better mantra for your cause.
Congratulations- you qualify as an English Denier. Of course this is right on brand for the fragile Left, where words mean whatever you like depending on your emotions of the day. That’s how Caitlin Jenner became a “woman” and George Floyd became a “hero”. Facts don’t matter as much as your feelings. Just don’t expect normal people to play along.
Just come up with a different term. It may help your cause. The present mantra makes no sense. It’s like you don’t understand the definition of either word. Climate Denier is like Oxygen Denier. What’s being denied is not intuitive or sensical.
Come on - you’re a really smart guy. Do better.
@JamesAbbott2013@HemoF35@151Call@ettourneur@MatthewWielicki We all have access to the same data. Climate Alarmists, however, have exclusive rights to the most absurd interpretations of the data.
Science is not on your side, but these deep thinkers are….
@ChrisMartzWX@ShaunFilss Climate Alarmists consider any mention of natural variability to be heresy. It’s the noise that drowns out their signal, and the signal must wail from the minarets 24/7, calling all to worship the Marxists “solutions” to the “climate crisis”.
@Tw_timerAlder Are the elderly over 65 vulnerable to inflated energy prices, driven by absurd Climate Alarmist policy?
Stop acting like you care. You’re only fooling yourself.
Climate science and Climate Alarmism are two different things. One is a field of inquiry, the other is a creepy Marxist religion.
Here’s my summary Venn diagram, free of charge. If you study it, you can fire your therapist. It will save you thousands of dollars.
You’re welcome.
The fool is the guy who believes a 0.015% atmospheric increase in plant food is toxic, and the government will improve the weather by collecting carbon taxes.
If that sounds absurd, it’s because it is. But you’re stuck with it. That’s in the Climate Alarmist catechism, whether you like it or not.
Either your college owes you a refund, or you owe them a sincere apology.
What’s it like to ignore observable reality in order to curate the Carbon Climate Doom Fantasy? I’d say it’s pretty unhealthy to actively hope for climate disasters in order to vindicate the sunken cost you have put into this weird cause.
Have you seen what it’s done to your colleagues? This isn’t healthy.
Right. Let’s not believe our eyes. Apex predators (wolves, bears, alligators, hawks, eagles, foxes, coyotes, otters, mountain lions, coastal sharks) are dramatically improving their numbers across enormous ranges of land and water, but everything they eat is going extinct. Good luck squaring that circle.
Do you get outside much? In Europe, and all across North America, we are seeing the opposite of an extinction event. There are huge increases in populations of Apex predators, all across these continents, which would be impossible without robust ecosystems, and food webs to feed them. The recoveries coincide with conservation measures, but these recoveries would not have been possible without very healthy complex ecosystems to support the Apex predators. I’m not saying any of this is due to the increase in CO2 in the air, although it would make sense given that additional photosynthesis should benefit everything up the food chain from algae to elk to wolves and grizzly bears and bald eagles. It’s an insidious extinction event that masquerades as the opposite.
