i have been deep in the "conspiracy" rabbit holes for almost a decade before epstein, charlie kirk, cia, etc went mainstream

i was in my early teenage years discovering who runs shit

i long ago realized that you and i currently cannot change this system unless u are a multi multi billionaire (which gives you a chance)

and even then you are likely to be controlled to some degree

knowing this, the only rational thing to do FIRST is to completely forget about politics

and then focus on building a life / business that allows you to achieve freedom in short order so you arent totally reliant on a system thats oppressing you

once ur there, the conversation can be had to attack the existing power structures, expose them, embed yourself in it, run for office, push your media, start some kind of initiative etc

but until then u gotta be selfish, u gotta raise your power levels, u gotta become a player worth something

As a Muslim, there's something that genuinely bothers me.

Millions of Muslims live in Christian majority countries, build mosques, preach Islam publicly, distribute Qur'ans, open halal businesses, and demand religious freedom,and rightly so.

Some even call for aspects of Shariah to be accommodated in the societies they've moved to.

Yet in some Muslim majority countries, Christians cannot openly preach the Gospel, build churches freely, or practice their faith without restrictions.

Why?

If we demand religious freedom for ourselves, we should be willing to grant it to others.

Truth does not need censorship.

If Islam is the truth, it has nothing to fear from a church, a Bible, or a Christian preacher.

You can't demand tolerance and freedom for Muslims abroad while denying the same freedoms to others at home.

The double standard needs to be called out.

📝 Nota do Governo do Brasil

O Governo brasileiro manifesta indignação com a conclusão preliminar anunciada ontem (1/6) pelo USTR relativa à investigação da Seção 301 contra alegadas práticas comerciais desleais do Brasil.

Essa investigação teve início em 15 de julho de 2025 por provocação da família Bolsonaro e está associada à tentativa de ingerência em temas internos do nosso país, como feito na recente viagem do senador Flávio Bolsonaro a Washington. Essas investidas têm contado com o auxílio de falsos patriotas que usam cargos e funções públicas para conspirar contra os interesses nacionais.

É lastimável que todo o trabalho de diálogo e articulação que o Governo brasileiro tem feito, inclusive com envolvimento pessoal dos Presidentes Lula e Trump, seja sabotado por interesses meramente eleitorais e familiares.

Não havia e não há justificativa para essas medidas unilaterais contra o nosso país ou contra patrimônios brasileiros como o PIX, mencionado explicitamente nas recomendações preliminares. Segundo estatísticas do “Bureau of Economic Analysis”, os EUA acumularam US$ 424,5 bilhões em superávit de bens e serviços com o Brasil nos últimos 15 anos (2011-2025). Só no ano passado, o superávit comercial de bens dos EUA com o Brasil totalizou US$ 14,46 bilhões. Considerando bens e serviços a cifra sobe a US$ 40,52 bilhões.

Em 2025, 76% das importações originárias dos Estados Unidos entraram no Brasil sem pagar imposto de importação. Oito dos dez principais produtos importados dos Estados Unidos pelo Brasil tiveram tarifa efetiva zero, incluindo petróleo e derivados, aeronaves, gás natural e carvão. A alíquota média efetivamente cobrada dos produtos norte-americanos no Brasil foi de apenas 3,1%.

O principal efeito das tarifas unilaterais, politicamente motivadas, aplicadas ao nosso país tem sido impor danos à economia nacional e à geração de emprego e renda, além de diminuir o papel dos EUA como nosso parceiro comercial. No primeiro trimestre de 2026, a participação dos EUA nas exportações brasileiras atingiu o menor valor da série histórica ao somar 9,4%.

Conforme acordado pelos Presidentes Lula e Trump por ocasião da reunião em Washington no dia 7 de maio, estão em curso negociações tarifárias entre os dois países em busca de soluções que resultem no encerramento da investigação da Seção 301, previsto para 15 de julho, sem imposição de medidas contra o Brasil. O Governo brasileiro também dará continuidade ao diálogo com o setor privado com esse objetivo.

O Brasil se reserva o direito de recorrer aos instrumentos previstos na Lei de Reciprocidade, aprovada por unanimidade pelo Congresso Nacional, para fazer face a situações de injustiça contra o Estado brasileiro, sem amparo nas regras do comércio internacional.

O Governo reafirma a expectativa de que as recomendações não se convertam em tarifas efetivas, mas reitera que adotará toda e qualquer medida capaz de reduzir os danos que venham a ser causados à economia, aos empregos e à renda dos brasileiros.

É preciso estar atento aos traidores da pátria e trabalhar em defesa da nossa soberania e dos interesses do povo brasileiro.

O que é preciso para ter uma vida longa e feliz?

Status? Pico dopaminérgico seguido de retorno ao baseline. Não constrói nada estrutural e é deletério no longo prazo.

Família? Yep.

Riqueza? Mesmo os estudos mais generosos com o dinheiro mostram um efeito pequeno sobre bem-estar comparado ao efeito de um bom casamento.

Você dobra o salário, o ganho é marginal. Consegue um bom casamento, sua vida toda muda.

Mais uma vez o cristianismo está certo.

O fator mais importante é qualidade de relação e, de todas as relações, a mais importante é com parceiro/cônjuge.

A pessoa com quem você mais vai passar tempo após os 30 é seu cônjuge.

E se não tiver cônjuge, você vai passar cada vez mais tempo sozinho ao longo dos 40, 50... E solidão crônica está relacionada com depressão, ansiedade e pior bem-estar emocional.

Meramente morar sozinho já reduz longevidade.

Construir uma boa família é mais importante para ser feliz do que construir riqueza, prestígio ou qualquer outra coisa.

Brvtal demais. Depois que descobri isso, percebi que muitas das pessoas que eu admirava pela riqueza ou prestígio eram, na verdade, fracassadas (famílias que deram errado ou pessoas solitárias e carentes).

E outra coisa mais brvtal ainda: quanto mais velho você fica, pior ficam suas opções (pessoas rodadas, de personalidade ruim, etc.)

A filosofia, a ciência e a religião me indicaram que o ativo mais importante da minha vida vai ser minha família. Não meu patrimônio em BTC e imóveis. Não minha rotina leve e tranquila.

I'll also say this as someone who grew up on the nice side of the barbed wire fences and high gates in the very nice part of town where the Nigerian 0.1% live - learn to touch grass and worry about yourself because rich people really do not care about you. Like, at all.

The Nigerian rich don't even like each other. They barely tolerate one another and make practical alliances to preserve wealth and influence. And now that the economy is too small to support all the children of the Nigerian 0.1%, nearly everyone I grew up with in the nice, leafy part of town now lives in Toronto or London or wherever. You, Mr N250k/month Union Bank contract staff are not part of rich people's thinking at all.

At. All.

The rich have no plans for you. They have no plans to create opportunities for you. They have no plans to fix the things they broke on their way to building that N1bn townhouse in Parkview Estate. They have no plans to contribute towards making society better. If Satan came from Hell with a tail and horns growing out of his head and he ran for political office, the rich would all go make deals with him - because in the world of the rich, the only thing that matters is their own interests, and making sure that they never, EVER have to live like you or next to you.

So all this simping and vicarious fawning over wealth and fame that you people do everyday is the most redundant thing in the world - the rich have no intention of expanding their circle to let you in, and they have no intention of enabling the conditions for you to create your own independent circle of wealth. The only thing the rich need from you is to be poor and obedient, so that your labour can be cheap, plentiful and replaceable.

Statistically as a Nigerian, you will NEVER be rich or close to it. You will NEVER live in Maitama. 99.99% of Nigerians who have existed since 1960 have prayed and fantasised about becoming rich, and 99.99% of those prayers and fantasies never came true. That's just math. You will never be a rich and famous celebrity. You will never be a successful content creator. You will never make millions shilling crypto, trading Forex, sports betting, or whatever the fuck is the latest quick wealth fantasy in town. It's just not going to happen.

That being the case, a much more constructive use of your time would be to fight for the material elevation of what you actually have, where you actually have it. Instead of daydreaming about the N300m house in Lekki that 3 generations of your family cannot buy, get involved in a local effort to give your own immediate neighbourhood a facelift, or a political campaign to pressure the state to build high quality social housing.

If you hate being harassed without consequence online, instead of vicariously enjoying how a celebrity has used their wealth and influence to jail someone for making a horrid tweet, fight for a judiciary and legal system that is transparent and accessible to all, so that a singer living in the UK on a global talent visa doesn't get to have more access to your Nigerian justice system than you who lives in Nigeria 24/7.

Instead of building your mental architecture around the false idea of being a "temporarily embarrassed millionaire" who will someday take your rightful place on Banana Island, touch grass tonight and accept that it will never happen, and what you need to do instead is fight for where you are to become a better, more liveable place that you no longer wish to escape from. Stop cosplaying as rich folk. Stop cooing and fawning over rich folk. Stop daydreaming about someday "blowing up" and buying a house next to Burna Boy. Rich people have no intention of sharing their world with you. Free yourself from the tyranny of living vicariously through people who don't care that you exist.
