Modified and Unsafe Vehicle inspections:

Total vehicles inspected = 37

Total vehicles transferred to UNFIT (plates seized) = 20

Total charges = 104

These inspections were conducted as part of our Modified and Unsafe Vehicle course. There were 11 outside police services alongside WRPS, totalling 33 police officers in attendance.

One of the charged parties was a driver operating a pickup truck, who proceeded to drift their vehicle directly in front of officers, causing their tires to lose traction and swerving into the opposite lane.

The driver was stopped and charged accordingly. Their vehicle and licence were seized.
