@TEnglishSport Tbh, think it’s irrelevant. Our club is a broken club in a broken association. Broke itself to win leagues, added to the main rival breaking the league, and the powers not having the courage to fix the setup while they were coming back through the leagues. Medicine time for all.
@CelticFC You have to feel sorry for the boy the way the club is putting him forward like this and starting his career off at this once great club, being used to excuse a third rate transfer policy which has failed spectacularly several times in a row. Welcome to Celtic and apologies.
@chris_sutton73@Record_Sport Entitled to that opinion. But Celtic have been fairly selfish in implementing their supposed model of late when it comes to letting players move up the ladder. They sell the stepping stone dream then baulk. Letting Engels go now might help with recruitmemt going forward.
@CarolineLucas@euromove I suppose maybe Labour knows that reversing that decision so soon would cement our reputation as an island of emotionally immature idiots. Hopefully one day, but not sure we can take a "whoops, can we get back in please?" approach. Be hilarious if the Tories end up doing it.
@CelticFC Translation - "we are Celtic. We're the only ones that should be able to name our price when selling players. Although most recent high value transfers haven't gone on to further success, we still feel we deserve to plunder other clubs, funding a bank balance that we cant spend".
@NigelGJ@EdwardJDavey Correct.
Except that country will be England, and not the silly little cosplay union that uses an even sillier union jack flag.
Long overdue. Thanks Nige! ❤️
@JohnHartson10 I dunno John. Someone told me Kyogo's transfer was one of the highest for a player of his age outside of the English, Spanish, Italian and German leagues. Not sure if thats 100% true, but it was a good deal. He wanted to make the Japan team and it was time to cash in and replace.
@Readtheroom2@jhnmcgnly Back him or sack him. Don't keep a manager you won't back. Think the players will be less affected by that over a couple of verses sung by the supporters?
