I built a Grok Bot to do product research for @crawlravenseo.
I gave it one job, study recent YouTube videos about SEO tools, read the comments, and group the problems that keep coming up.
Two patterns stood out.
SEO tools are good at finding issues. People still struggle to fix them.
Users don't want another CSV. They want a report they can understand, act on, or send to a client.
Product pages show what tools promise. YouTube comments show where users get stuck.
The Grok Bot used @TubeAlfred to do the research.
Last week I was at the @RoachMafiaGroup meetup in Bangalore, hosted by @ayushtweetshere and I'm still thinking about it.
A few things that made it special:
I finally met @vikashkprajapat, my co-founder at TubeAlfred, in person for the first time.
We've been building together for a while, so getting to sit in the same room and brainstorm how to grow @TubeAlfred was honestly a great feeling.
The sessions were excellent and I picked up a lot. Going in, I had my doubts about the logistics… there were a LOT of people this time, and I wasn't sure how they'd pull it off. But the @RoachMafiaGroup org team made it look easy. Pretty much zero mistakes. Huge respect for what they put together.
And then there was the fun part… I got to play badminton after a long time and enjoyed it way more than I expected. I also got pulled into few rounds of game of Mafia. I'm not good at it at all, but it might be one of the most fun games I've ever played. Didn't think it would be that fun, honestly.
And few of us got to play Sticky Fingers, a card game built by @arvindhsundar. It's a simulation about networking, how you actually invest in people when something valuable is on the line. If you're into game design or game-based learning, his work is worth following.
But the part that stuck with me most was the people. I talked to and learned from almost everyone there, and so many of them gave me genuinely useful feedback on what I'm building. The advice actually landed.
Here's the thing I've started to notice about these @RoachMafiaGroup meetups: I always leave with a new problem to solve.
Last time, my problem was finding a product worth building and the right people to build it with… and I found my co-founders. Solved.
This time the problem is bigger: how do we actually grow what we've built.
If I keep my head down and apply everything I picked up here, I'm hoping to have it mostly figured out by the next meetup… and show up with a brand new problem to chase.
Maybe that's the real magic of this place… you never run out of treasure maps.
Last week: someone signed up, bought a credit pack, and burned through most of it the same day.
This week: another user bought twice as much. Used all of it in a couple of days. Then sent detailed feedback.
Loving this.

I’m smiling.
SaaS founders are sleeping on YouTube.
I recently found an indie builder doing $1M ARR solely from YouTube SEO.
His channel?
Only 3,200 subscribers.
No viral videos.
No massive audience.
Just search.
YouTube is the most predictable growth channel.
Here's why you should start today 🧵
I built a $12k/mo product using YouTube.
Not viral videos.
Search driven, pain-focused videos that convert.
Over 5 years,
I learned how to:
• Find high-intent topics
• Rank videos on Google
• Turn views into recurring revenue
I’m now building @TubeAlfred with @rakeshreddy
