@87_RobertM@mark_slapinski He IS serious. It's proven. Problem is his ignorance of the laws, or maybe disregard of such. Because indeed, a constitutional process to achieve it is not possible in either country, so he might have something else in mind.
@Canuck8675309@mark_slapinski So basically what you are saying is the US goods are not competitive and they need tariffs to level the price/quality vs Canadian goods. OK.
@Reprrid Let's get over the fact of how he got out, but the first instinct would be to run away, rather than take the risk of closing the doors, why would he think that could be done fast enough, and in fact it wasn't.
@shishito6ix@calebparke They can't because they have hundreds of fires to deal with themselves. Stretched to the limit they are, again. And smoke from USA is blowing into Ontario, we just don't like to play stupid and complain about it.
@calebparke I'm laughing soo hard, nobody really can be so dumb. But to answer your question, we are getting ready to lift the great lakes and pour all that water onto the fire. Should work better than even your nuking the hurricanes.
@marcusleshock@cedarpoint What were they doing there so late, they should've been indoors all day watching Fox News and getting ready to watch the President's very important speech.
@tsspangler@JohnJamesMI More facts: "The Trans-Border Loop: Satellite mapping shows a massive strip of dense smoke stretching from the U.S. Upper Midwest across the Great Lakes. A portion of this smoke is traveling over the Atlantic Ocean and looping right back onto the far eastern coastline of Canada."
@tsspangler@JohnJamesMI Fact:" The Minnesota Plume: Strong winds are carrying thick smoke from numerous large fires raging in northern Minnesota straight across the border, feeding directly into the haze over western and southern Ontario."
@Philly_P87 “We are sharing after Canada is paid back,” Carney said in an interview
“We get the revenues. Then the servicing of the costs of the bridge and paying the debt of the bridge, and then what’s left over, there’s a split of that for 15 years”
