Thought-provoking discussion across clean tech, equity, and Justice40. And I’m always pleased to see an all-women panel at an energy conference ;) Many thanks @TuftsUniversity for bringing us all together.
Leaders from a variety of backgrounds, including IGS Executive Director @Enviro_Rebecca, discussed the gap between #GreenEnergy innovation and real-world implementation at a panel @TuftsEnergyConf. Thank you to the panelists for an informative conversation.
Great to host my friend and former White House colleague @BrianCDeese at @FletcherSchool@TuftsUniversity last week for the Tufts Energy Conference #TEC for a juicy discussion of innovation, economic growth, and jobs.
“We have the technologies we need…but questions about how we behave as humans are unanswerable as of now” -@Enviro_Rebecca of @IGS_BU on decarbonization & equitable impact, also emphasizing the importance of research and data in demystifying where funding needs to go #justice40

Professor @intnlwaters moderated a @TuftsEnergyConf panel discussion on energy resilience and ways to maximize technology to create a more efficient future 👏
We now have full year 2023 data for clean investment in the U.S.
We also now have the first-ever estimate of actual *federal* investment in clean technologies via tax credits, loans and grants.
TL;DR every $1 of federal investment is leveraging $5-6 of private investment.
Heather Takle of @PowerOptions calling for clarity, continuity and simplicity of clean energy incentives… and maybe even negative incentives too ( she might have said penalties) @TuftsEnergyConf
“Crafting smart policies and the responses to those policies have been effective” — examples include offshore wind 💨, solar ☀️, and more, facilitated by markets —Kevin Knobloch, CEO @GreentownLabs at 19th annual Tufts Energy Conference #EnergyTransition#mapoli
