কেন্দ্র সরকারের অর্থানুকূল্যে, কৃষকদের সুবিধার্থে সহায়ক মূল্যে ধান কেনার জন্য রাজ্য সরকারগুলো কে দেওয়া কেন্দ্রের নির্দেশানুসারে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার বিভিন্ন স্বয়ম্ভর গোষ্ঠী ও অন্যান্য সংস্থার মাধ্যমে চাষিদের কাছ থেকে ধান ক্রয় করার কাজ শুরু করেছে।
বীরভূমের সিউড়ি কিষান মান্ডির ধান ক্রয় কেন্দ্র থেকেও চাষিদের কাছ থেকে ধান ক্রয় করা হচ্ছে, তবে সেখানে এক বস্তা ধান বিক্রি করতে গেলে বস্তায় ৫ কেজি করে ধানের ওজনে বাদ দেওয়া হচ্ছে যার ফলে চাষিরা আর্থিক ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন হচ্ছেন। কোথাও কোথাও তো বস্তায় ধানের মূল্য থেকে ১০২ টাকা করেও কেটে নেওয়ার অভিযোগও রয়েছে। এ বিষয়ে চাষিরা আপত্তি জান��লে তাদের সরাসরি বলে দেওয়া হচ্ছে যে তাদের ধান নেওয়া হবে না। অগত্যা ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন হয়েও চাষিরা ধান বিক্রি করতে বাধ্য হচ্ছেন।
এবছর প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগের কারণে চাষিরা এমনিতেই অনেক ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন হয়েছেন। রাজ্য সরকার কে অনুরোধ করবো যে একটু মানবিক হন। আমি খাদ্য দপ্তরের আধিকারিকদের, খাদ্য সচিব এবং মুখ্যসচিব কে পরিস্থিতি খতিয়ে দেখে যথাযথ ব্যবস্থা করার অনুরোধ করছি। এই ঘটনা প্রতি বছর ঘ���ে চলেছে, এর শেষ হওয়া প্রয়োজন।

The CM of West Bengal is at it again; i.e. misleading the people of Bengal by selectively and mischievously quoting from Basic Animal Husbandry Statistics (BAHS) - 2024 published by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying of the Government of India.
While talking about the growth rate of milk production, she conveniently forgot to mention that West Bengal is not even among the first 10 milk producing states, with UP (387.8 Lakh Tonnes) accounting for 16.2% of the nation’s production, Rajasthan (347.33 Lakh Tonnes) accounting for 14.5% and West Bengal (76.49 Lakh Tonnes) accounting for a meagre 3.2%, i.e. less than 20% of that figure! 
Furthermore, the per capita availability of milk for WB’s population is a meagre 211 g/day against 450 g/day in UP, 1171 g/day in Rajasthan and 1245 g/day in Punjab and an All India average of 471 g/day! WB is ranked an abysmal 18th. So much for improvement in milk production in the state.
The same story is in egg production. Most states have surpassed the national growth rate but West Bengal is lagging far behind. Even in terms of total production, West Bengal with 11.37% is far behind Andhra Pradesh with 17.85% and Tamil Nadu with 15.64%! In terms of availability of eggs per person, West Bengal at 164 eggs/year compares poorly with Telangana with 483 eggs/person, Andhra Pradesh with 479 eggs/person, Tamil Nadu with 291 eggs/person and Haryana with 283 eggs/person!
Even in meat, West Bengal with a growth rate of 10.99% trails Assam with 17.93% and Uttarakhand with 15.63%. In terms of per capita availability of meat, West Bengal with 13.06 kg/year is at 8th position, far behind of Telangana with 29.21 kg/year, Haryana with 22.86 kg/year and Andhra Pradesh with 20.09 kg/year and even Tripura with 14.48 kg/year!
The people of Bengal have seen that all your departments have failed, the only thing they excel in is beating your drum. But how long will you continue to mislead the people in this age of freedom of information!

���াম্প্রদায়িক মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর নির্লজ্জ তোষণের রাজত্বে গভীর রাতেও জ্বলছে মুর্শিদাবাদের বেলডাঙা। বাংলাদেশের কায়দায় চলছে হিন্দুনিধন যজ্ঞ! দিকে দিকে নিরীহ হিন্দুদের বেছে বেছে মারধর, বাড়িতে বাড়িতে অগ্নিসংযোগ, বোমাবাজি চলছে। এমনকি বাড়িতে বলপূর্বক ঢুকে নিরীহ মহিলাদেরও দেওয়া হচ্ছে প্রাণনাশের হুমকি! রাজ্যের ব্যর্থ, নির্লজ্জ পুলিশ মন্ত্রী @MamataOfficial কি এসব শুনে শান্তিতে ঘুমোচ্ছেন? নাকি ���বটাই পশ্চিমবঙ্গকে বাংলাদেশ বানানোর গভীর ষড়যন্ত্র?

আমি বেলডাঙার স্থানীয় জনগণের কাছে আর্জি জানাচ্ছি, তাঁরা যেন এই মুহূর্তে কারোর উস্কানি এবং প্ররোচনায় পা না দেন। একইসঙ্গে পুলিশ প্রশাসনের কাছেও দ্রুত এলাকায় শান্তি ফিরিয়ে আনবার আবেদন জানাচ্ছি।

এই দৃশ্য বাংলাদেশের নয়, এই কীর্তি পশ্চিমবঙ্গের হিন্দু বিরোধী শাসক তৃণমূল দল পরিচালিত পুরসভার।
আগে মা দুর্গার প্রতিমা বিসর্জন না করে, প্রতিমাকে যন্ত্রের সাহায্যে অসভ্যের মতো ছিন্নবিচ্ছিন্ন করে নদীতে ফেলা হয়েছে। গতকাল কৃষ্ণনগর কদমতলা ঘাটে কৃষ্ণনগর পৌরসভার নির্দেশে পৌরসভার কর্মচারীরা এভাবেই দুর্গা ঠাকুরের প্রতিমা কে কেটে টুকরো করে ভাস��ন করেছে।
ঠিকঠাক ভাবে শাস্ত্র মতে ভাসান হয়ে যাওয়ার পরে নদী পরিষ্কার রাখার জন্য যা করণীয় সেটা করলে কারুরই কোনো আপত্তি থাক��ো না, কিন্তু তা না করে সর্বসমক্ষে এই কান্ড ঘটানোর উদ্দেশ্য কি?

এইভাবে সরাসরি সনাতনীদের আস্থায় আঘাত হানা ন্যক্কারজনক। এর আগে রাণাঘাটে ১১২ ফুটের দুর্গাপুজো বন্ধ করেছে তৃণমূলের প্রশাসন, গতকালের এই ঘটনা নবতম সংযোজন।
মমতা ব্যানার্জী আর তার প্রশাসন যদি ভেবে থাকে এই ভাবে হিন্দুদের আস্থা এবং বিশ্বাসের উপর আঘাত হানতে থাকবে আর হিন্দুরা সেটা মেনে নেবে, আর সেটা হবে না। আমি সকল হিন্দু ভাই বোনদ���র কাছে আবেদন করছি আপনারা এবার জাগ্রত হন। এই হিন্দু বিরোধী তৃণমূল সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে এবার একত্রিত হয়ে আওয়াজ ওঠানোর সময় এসেছে।

This morning, when everyone was busy in Puja for Navratri, several jehadis and goons under the protection of Namit Singh, an accused in the NIA cases and son of the local @AITCofficial Councillor and supervision of the local police attacked my office-cum-residence Mazdoor Bhawan. The local Police played a role of mute spectator as the goons were brandishing the firearms openly in front of the Police. About 15 Bombs were hurled, more than a dozen rounds of bullets were fired by these goons.
The @WBPolice has become a stooge of the @AITCofficial. Shameful!

There are no concessions for Opposition Political Workers in West Bengal, especially BJP Karyakartas, even if such Karyakarta is a woman and also from the minority community.

Hossainara Begum; Vice President BJP Minority Morcha was brutally attacked by TMC goons on 25th June. She was forcefully disrobed, molested and brutally beaten up mercilessly at Rangamati village, Post - Ramthenga, under Police Station - Ghoksadanga, Cooch Behar district.
Her only fault is that she associated with BJP and has worked extensively during the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections.
She is presently being treated for injuries at the Cooch Behar MJN Medical College and Hospital.

I have sent emails to the Chairpersons of National Human Rights Commission, National Commission for Women and National Commission for Minorities, urging them to send a team to Cooch Behar district to ascertain what an Opposition Political Worker goes through in West Bengal.

Last night miscreants vandalised 5 Sanatani Temples at Bankra; Howrah.
The locals as a mark of protest are bolckading rail lines.
I am requesting Shri Praveen Kumar Tripathi (IPS); Commissioner of @hwhcitypolice and DGP @WBPolice to arrest the culprits as quickly as possible. Also kindly take steps to restore normalcy in the area and persuade the agitators to continue their rightful protests without blocking public transport.
The continuous reluctance of the WB Police in taking action against miscreants who indulge in vandalism of Sanatani Temples have emboldened them to target the Sanatani Community over and over again.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has decided that the Free Movement Regime (FMR) between India and Myanmar be scrapped to ensure the internal security of the country and to maintain the demographic structure of India’s North Eastern States bordering Myanmar. Since the Ministry of External Affairs is currently in the process of scrapping it, MHA has recommended the immediate suspension of the FMR.
