🚨UPDATE: Tether temporarily FREEZES $1.45 MILLION in USDT across four THORChain vaults on TRON, forcing the protocol to suspend affected swaps, per The Defiant.

Tether reversed the blacklist after just THREE HOURS, restoring access to the funds and allowing services to resume.

THORChain says it received NO prior warning. Another 19 addresses remain BLACKLISTED. Tether has not explained the freeze.

The Fed hiked in September for the first time since 2023, and Wednesday brings the last CPI report before its October 28 decision.

JUST IN: 🇨🇦 Canada loses 68,000 jobs in September as trade war with the US continues.

This is the second consecutive month of job losses, with Canada losing a total of 110,000 jobs over the past two months.

Canada's unemployment rate also jumped to 6.5%.

The ongoing trade war with the US is adding more pressure on the Canadian economy as the job market continues to weaken.

THE BLOCK: Ledger said it is investigating reports of lost funds involving users in Southeast Asia who purchased devices from reseller CryptoBilis.

Ledger said it has asked CryptoBilis to pause sales and shipments while the investigation continues. It advised customers who bought devices from the reseller in the past 90 days not to set them up, or to move their assets to a new Ledger signer with a new seed if already set up.

Onchain investigator Specter estimated that more than $86 million had been drained from hundreds of wallets across Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tron. Security researcher tanuki42 earlier put the losses at more than $72 million and said the figure was increasing.
