@nmlarson_4 Whatever way you want to look at it… that’s terrible playcalling. Motion the Top 5 RB out wide and run a FB toss the other way. You need to live and die by your stars. If you want to talk execution you can look past your own QB stat line and realize he was trash for 2 quarters.
@nmlarson_4 If you were a Vikings fan and watched all the games so far… you would know they had called about 4K screen passes. It’s plays like the 3rd and 1 at the end of the first half where they called a full back toss… that let GB get back in the game. The play calling has been awful
"The @Patriots guaranteed $163 million in free agency and people rolled their eyes. Those add-ons have been worth every penny. They, then, nailed the draft with three huge pieces in Jones, Barmore, and Stevenson. Teams spend decades re-building. It took NE a year." -- @PSchrags
The blueprint is simple.
1. Stop the run on defense. When teams can run you have to load the box and we're not built like that on the backend
2. Cook needs 25+ touches when healthy and get mattison 10
3. Shots to 18, they loosen up and then you let 19 run his elite routes.
🗣THIS IS DEFENSIVE HOLDING!!! How do the refs miss this? The guard is trying to trade off the stunt & the DT holds his jersey so he can’t make it to the guy. This is taught but it’s also told to refs to watch for this on twists. These refs are killin the #Gophers in key moments.
