@MDKnight2016 It’s hilarious that people think kids don’t know what their market value is and only enter the portal because of tampering. An agent will tell you exactly how much you will get and from what conference.
Here’s new Tennessee pitching coach, Austin Knight, talking about his relationship with his pitchers.
Yeah, he’s going to be just fine.
What a home run hire by Elander.
President Trump returns from Wisconsin.
POTUS stepped off Air Force One, gave a fist bump toward the press, and made his way across the tarmac.
He then boarded Marine One.
@ShawnGillespi This isn’t “high-level” travel ball (look at the hitters), and spraying 89 at 17 isn’t coming “out firing”. The sooner you accept both of those realities, the easier it will be to accept why the phone isn’t ringing.
@Noahberge13@TonyGilio “Coaches fully invested in development.” Grow up man. Coaches are fully invested in winning and want kids who can produce and not blame the staff for their own shortcomings.
@lukesmailes4@d1baseball Roster limits greatly change the dynamic for mid-week games. Most teams don’t want their midweek guy going 5 so he’s available for the weekend.
@SanPedroAce@CraigStem@NotthatCReeves Fair point, generally. But the original post is very specific to a certain demographic of pitcher who could greatly improve their careers by maximizing their velo. Having three months to train specifically for that without having to play in games can be life changing
@CraigStem@SanPedroAce@NotthatCReeves Preston Hartsell hit .152 at USC in 2019, then played in the Northwoods, a premier college summer league, and his batting average dropped 34 points to .118 the next year at USC.
@dominiclisti Guessing it depends on Thurs. Win that then go all in for Fri & the series with MS or AK. 11 ACC wins. Leaves an outside shot to get in with only 3 ACC tournament wins. Would likely have 36 wins, a chunk vs Q1, 14 ACC wins and strong RPI.
@ChopCoastal@Bpquigs Every team gets the data on every pitch in every game. The opposing team literally gets the data live. Has nothing to do with what’s shown on the scoreboard or o TV.
