Nigeria, our children are being taken from classrooms.
Gunmen stormed schools in Oyo and Borno, abducting dozens of pupils and teachers. Many are still missing. Parents are living in fear and teachers are protesting daily.
This is unacceptable.
How many more children must be kidnapped before real action is taken?

How many machines knock for Osun states and Ekiti state
I been in construction since late 2014
Those numbers of occurrence are not normal
Good girl π€
You agree? Nice. You should appreciate say I dey debate you like this instead of telling you to go bring your father or your brother to represent you. Because according to Islam and Sharia wey you study, a girl no suppose dey talk to men outside her family and marriage. But here you are.
The point still stand, that degree dey very limited to Nigeria and basically useless. Common Law open real doors nationwide, big cases, corporate, government, money. Two degrees but one dey carry the weight. Appreciate the reality check too.
True, I despise Islam for the death and destruction it causes in Nigeria and all over the world
On the other subject, na facts we dey discuss. Yes, 1999 Constitution (as amended) allow Muslims apply Islamic personal law (marriage, inheritance, guardianship etc.) for Sharia courts in some northern states where people choose it. That one correct.
But the same Constitution make English Common Law the backbone of our entire legal system nationwide, Supreme Court, Federal High Court, commercial law, criminal law, contracts, oil & gas, banking, international deals, government policy, big corporate briefs etc.
Question still stand, How many high paying jobs, chambers or national influence dey for pure Islamic Law graduate wey no get strong Common Law foundation?. The field for standalone Islamic Law is very narrow mostly local Sharia personal matters for those 12 states, academia, or religious roles.
You get two degrees, fine. But one open doors across the whole country and beyond. The other dey limited and relatively useless, itβs just for aesthetics. No be insult na reality of our legal market. Do the research on job stats and court jurisdiction, no be emotion. Which one you dey use full-time for practice?
Both? π Okay, let me help you out too. You get two degrees, Common Law wey dey work for Nigerian courts, contracts, companies, government, even international level and Islamic Law wey mostly limited to Sharia courts for personal matters like marriage and inheritance for some Northern states.
In a country where the Constitution is supreme and English Common Law is the foundation of our legal system, tell me how many big cases, corporate briefs, or policy jobs dey available for pure Islamic Law graduate?
Do the research well. Name one person in Nigeria that known for practicing Islamic law. The field wey your Islamic Law degree dey applicable na very narrow one. No be insult na reality check
Good morning, Nigerians π³π¬
Another day, another painful reminder that our children are not safe.
Weeks after gunmen stormed schools in Oyo and Borno, dozens of pupils and teachers are still in captivity. Parents are crying daily, teachers are protesting on the streets, yet the response from the Tinubu government remains weak, slow, and insensitive.
How many more children must be taken from their classrooms before this government treats insecurity as the national emergency it truly is?
This is not normal. This must stop.
Bring back our children. Secure our schools.

Why are you ignoring the abducted people of Ekiti state
There are kids among the victims, you are more interested in Re-election more than actual governance
