@t_sadiity Even if that happened, it's not like money's going to be flying around. Banks keep money locked in a vault, and even inside the vault the money is in bags, bins or strapped bundles.
@arwenbluu Oh my spring child. I saw Germany when it was separated into two parts by a wall. I was traumatized when my class watched the launch of a spaceship carrying a teacher, only to see it explode. and I saw the largest volcanic eruption in the US when Mt. St Helens blew its top.
@KingTargaryenn Honestly, I am glad they got rid of that arc and Lady Stoneheart. I read the books before the show and it is no exaggeration that when I got to her resurrection, my eyes rolled so far back in my head that I got an eye cramp.
@GunnelsWarren If the cap was eliminated, then the social security payout would rise in proportion (What you receive is determined by what you pay in) so the rich would be receiving so much more than the poor when they hit retirement. I don't think it solves the problem like they think it will
@omgsidewalks I know it seems like humanity has evolved but we haven't. The law of the jungle still applies - those with the most resources, skills and connections will always do better.
@mkf6gpy@beha_hun You can get it as early as 62, but the lifetime amount that you get is less. They probably explained to her that the longer she waits, the higher her monthly checks will be and she decided to wait.
