@XDUB1007 It's because Cleveland could still have lost the AL Central tiebreaker to Chicago, then also lose the Wild Card tiebreaker to Texas or Houston. 3-way or 4-way tie at 82-80. Another way to look at it, Chicago tiebreaker means our magic number would always be one more than theirs.
