Stats don’t “prove” anything. Stats are numbers. Your interpretation of those numbers is subjective. 55% of murdered does not “prove” Black men are violent criminals. (Just an example.)

@justjimsopinion @DarkSideAdvcate The stats don’t “mean” anything. They’re just stats. We attribute meaning to them. That’s the problem. There’s a difference between 55% of murders are by Black men & “Black men are violent” based on that stat when that 55% is less that 1% of Black men.

Thats not the community’s fault. No community is perfect. And I know there is a lot the community does that you’re not aware of.

@justjimsopinion @DarkSideAdvcate The issue isn’t the stats. The issue is what people believe about them. Black men may commit 10k murders. That’s a fact. That doesn’t mean the Black community encourages crime. There’s a difference between data and what we say it means.
