@EnnyOldIron@VeronicaPullen@iamtomskinner The only plus is if more businesses have to register for VAT out potential clients can't go elsewhere and pay 20% less to someone who doesn't have to pay VAT. Swings and roundabouts!
@EnnyOldIron@VeronicaPullen@iamtomskinner And yes we can claim our VAT back but as a service based business we don't actually buy that much so the balance between VAT in and VAT out is not in our favour
@MartinSLewis Have to say the best decision I ever made, I will only give what I won't miss and if it comes back happy days, if not it's okay. No more awkward conversations and lies. Your family are what they are, find your boundaries and stick to them
@MartinSLewis I have lent my parents money for several years but it either didn't come back at all or at different times. It massively affected our relationship until the day I said that's enough I will give you money but no more lending because you never stick to your promises

@DavidNautilus1 Had this conversation in a school yesterday where they hadn't fined a student yet for his 50% attendance but fining students who took a couple of days on holiday but had 98% attendance... It is not fairly applied at all
