Students in Human Body Systems and Forensics attended our annual Cadaver Lab on April 2! It was a great day learning. The morning started with a pig heart dissection, then moved into the human cadaver demonstration. Thanks to SLU’s AIMS program for hosting us!
I remember my high school science teacher once described NSTA’s expo hall as a giant playground and I get it now. I understand it now. Wish my husband good luck in dragging me out of here tomorrow.
An exciting day in Biomedical Science! PBS students met with 2 nurses and learned how to safely draw blood from patients. Just one of many things we’ve been up to this year. #pltw#limitlesslearning
Another year, another successful pumpkin lab! Students used the joys of fall to examine the well-known “elephant toothpaste” reaction. They used their observations and qualitative data to classify the reaction type.
A mysterious death has occurred in our #PLTW Biomed class!
Looking forward to seeing how my students investigate the case of Anna Garcia in this first unit. 🔬
