@aboveeg @Kentroadsafety That still misses the point AFAIC. The danger comes from drivers, which is what any "road safety" account should be focussing on. e.g "Driver's: even if a child is wearing headphones, you're still not allowed to run them over" something like that
Yesterday we dealt a blow to JSO’s efforts to cause serious disruption.
Officers arrested a 42-yr-old man in Southwark on suspicion of conspiracy to cause criminal damage.
Numerous items were seized that could be used to cause damage across London.
The man remains in custody.
@nickdebois They're not going through a red light in that situation, they're moving from the road, to shared space, then back on the road again in a safe way that doesn't conflict with other road users.
@DanielKorski@roadventPS If you're going to dig up the roads to put these in you may as well put protected cycle infrastructure everywhere. You know, something evidence based that will actually have a huge positive effect backed up by real data.
