I have a bachelors degree in science. Science, dammit. Sadly, my masters is not in science. 🤷♂️ I am interested in economics, government, and foreign affairs.
@RadioFreeTom@JoeReynolds2020 Whats important here is electing leaders who know what it is that they don’t know and possess the wisdom to seek out expertise from those who do. This is what fundamentally sound leadership *is*. It’s mind-boggling to me that we as a nation can’t seem to figure this out.
@PuccaNoodles 2/2 “...they won’t understand. They probably won’t even notice.” When I presented, she pointed out my error in front of the class. The other kids laughed and such. It was all quite embarrassing. That was a breach of trust that took a long time to get past.
@PuccaNoodles 1/2 In 8th grade, I presented in front of the class on the Pythagorean theorem. I had a lot of charts and graphs that I made in Excel. I noticed one was upside down. I asked to delay my presentation and the teacher said, “Look at your materials versus those of the other kids...”
