The latest report by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Joint Tax Board, and Nairalytics has revealed the Top 10 States with the Highest Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in 2024, showing Lagos, Rivers, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) leading the chart.
Lagos State recorded a remarkable ₦1.26 trillion IGR, up from ₦815.86 billion in 2023, a 54.63% year-on-year growth, reaffirming its position as Nigeria’s economic powerhouse.
