Surrender is one tough lession, but God is so patient, loving us through the struggle to fully surrender to His will and remove the manipulative masks we wear characterized by the flesh.

We are not defined by our circumstances. We are beloved children of the one true God.
This is our true identity. One that doesn’t shift or fall apart under life’s strains, failures, our own imperfections, setbacks or heartaches. It is secure in our unchanging God.
I don’t know what crazy steps of obedience God is currently calling you to take. But let me encourage you to keep going. Keep trusting. Keep taking step after obedient step.
We don’t have to understand the “why” of God’s ways. But we do need to keep choosing to follow them.
When your identity is in Christ, your identity is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Criticism can’t change it. Failing can’t shake it. Lists can’t determine it. When your identity is in the Rock, your identity is rock-solid.
I know how hard it can be to wait on God when you want to move forward and you’re seeking His guidance.
But while you wait on His answer, don't lose confidence in His goodness. Be strong. Be patient. Cling to His Word. And keep trusting in His unfailing love.
Instead of trying to do things alone & working solely within our limitations as humans, let's remember that the Lord wants us to lean on Him. To ask for help to do the impossible. And let's believe that His mighty power IS at work in us – just like Ephesians 3:20 tells us it is.
God is forever my refuge. When nothing comforts, no one understands, and I can't see past today's circumstances, my hope is in God's faithfulness. He understands. He sees. He showers me with love even when I simply don't deserve it. Joy in the midst of pain is incredible!#faith
3 things that Satan wants you to believe about your situation:
1. You can't.
2. God won't.
3. It will never get better.
When we hear these lies from the enemy, it's time to saturate our thoughts with God's Word and read it like the love letter it is.
Sometimes, when we’ve wrestled with an unanswered prayer for a really long time, our heart can begin to harden. Let’s ask Him to help us keep our hearts soft & humble as we wait. And let’s remember that God is working things out. His plans are good. And He can still be trusted.
Sometimes the well dries up before God fills it again. Sometimes the waters overwhelm us before they part before us. If you’re in over your head, out of options, and can’t see a way through, do not fret! Instead, remember what you know about God. He is good. He is faithful.
With the power of Christ all things can be made new. And all broken things are subject to restoration.
Let’s allow those truths to breathe life into us today.
A reminder my heart and mind both need today: This life is not about me. It’s about joining hands with Jesus to fulfill whatever tasks He sets before me and to share His love with all He brings my way.
The beliefs we hold should hold us up even when life feels like it’s falling apart.
Feelings are fragile props. Only truth is solid, unchanging, and stable through and through.
