#HandsOn
A few months ago, data felt overwhelming.
Today, Kobo Toolbox, SPSS, Power BI, and Google Sheets are tools I can confidently call my own.
I came into this program searching for direction. I leave with a sharpened skill set, a professional CV, and a heart full of gratitude.
The examinations are near, and I am ready. My next chapter starts now.
Thank you, #TwezuuleFoundation.
#Digiconomy
Hard of Hearing. Loud in data.
My name is Nakiyimba Kirabo, and the Digiconomy program did not just teach me analytics; it taught me that I was always capable.
Reasonable accommodation was all I ever needed.
These hands are ready. Watch this space.

One of the hardest spaces to advocate for #DisabilityInclusion is the church.
Many still view disability through a charity or miracle lens.
Persons with disabilities come to worship, pray and serve like everyone else not just for miracles.
Let us make praises of worship accessible with ramps, sign language interpreters and inclusive practices.

They were told the digital world wasn't built for them. They logged in anyway.
Young women with disabilities are not waiting for permission. They are learning graphic design, digital marketing, and data analytics transforming these skills into pathways of independence, dignity, and economic power.
This is what true inclusion looks like. This is what empowerment demands.
When we invest in young women with disabilities, we invest in a future that leaves no one behind.

Behind every screen is a story of resilience.
These young women were told that their limitations defined them.
Today, they are redefining everything because when you give a girl with a disability a digital skill, you give her a voice, a livelihood, and a future she owns.

As we were amplifying the importance of disability-inclusive maternal healthcare, we discussed the need for adjustable delivery beds for women who may find it difficult to climb onto conventional beds.
In response, the dedicated midwives at China-Uganda friendship hospital Naguru shared an innovative alternative #BirthStool which can support women who cannot easily access a delivery bed.
While this demonstrates creativity and commitment to ensuring no woman is left behind, it also raises an important question:
Should innovation replace essential equipment, or should every health facility be adequately equipped with #AdjustableBeds to guarantee safe, dignified and inclusive maternity care for all?
Dear @MinofHealthUG what measures are being taken to ensure that maternity facilities are equipped with sufficient adjustable delivery beds, particularly for women with disabilities and others with mobility challenges?

I recently joined fellow disability rights advocates at @NaguruHospital for a dialogue on the African Disability Protocol, The Persons With Disabilities Act and the UNCRPD, which all affirm the right of persons with disabilities to accessible, dignified, and non-discriminatory healthcare.
I appreciate the hospital for its commitment to promoting disability-inclusive health services.
I call upon health institutions, policymakers, and stakeholders to strengthen the implementation of these frameworks to ensure that women and girls with disabilities can fully enjoy their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights without barriers.

Young persons with disabilities continue to face higher barriers to employment, skills development and economic opportunities.
Through the #DigiConomy Program and in partnership with @SkillsKlinic, we empowered young girls with disabilities with practical digital skills that can open doors to employment, entrepreneurship and greater economic participation.
Over the past 3 months, these young women have strengthened their capacity to thrive in the digital economy.
Investing in digital inclusion is investing in an inclusive future.

As we continue to commemorate #MenstrualHygieneDay we reached out to pupils with hearing impairment at Eruba Primary School in Arua District.
We created a safe and inclusive space where the young girls openly shared their experiences and challenges during menstruation as pupils with disabilities. The session focused on menstrual health and hygiene management, personal hygiene, and encouraging the girls to stay in school with confidence, knowing that menstruation is normal and should never make them feel ashamed of it.
We also encouraged the senior woman and other teachers to continue supporting and guiding girls with disabilities through safe and open discussions on menstrual health.

Girls are openly sharing what they truly need: affordable pads, accessible facilities, supportive communities, and safe spaces where they can heal.
Making menstrual health inclusive for people with disabilities isn't just an option.
