@annagranta No, it would put my job at risk. Most of the people in my office are the kind who roll their eyes at the concept of neurodivergence. Mentality of "society was fine until we invented ADHD/ASD/etc." If I admit it, they'll assume any mistake I make is intentional laziness.
@Artists_Ali I have major trust issues. I also recognize those are my demons to face and think phone/computer privacy is freaking sacred. I'm uncomfortable knowing someone's password or accidentally seeing something pop up on the lockscreen. It's none of my business!
@ResilientPlus@AskADHD I try and find the person most likely to find it useful, wait until after, and email it to them. It's not ideal, but my realtime filter is completely off the mark more often than not.
I've been binging Star Trek: Enterprise and really enjoying it. But now I'm in season 3, which is where everyone tells me it gets really good, and instead it just got all dark and stressful. So much mood whiplash!
@ArtSavvyVal @AskADHD Me too! And sometimes I'll realize it mid-sharing and people wonder why I went from motormouthing to quiet and start asking if something's wrong... I have yet to come up with a good explanation though heh
@annagranta I used to work in billing, but they reassigned most of my duties and no one but my boss works in this office, so my job consists of 1-3 hours of work and 4-7 hours sitting quietly and sneaking peeks at my phone when my boss' office door is closed. I miss having things to do!
@MamaDoctorJones Apparently when we replace all our teeth with dentures or implants, we end losing some fine motor control when it comes to manipulating food. TIL!

@MamaDoctorJones I read somewhere that it's to stop us from biting things that damage them, and also so we know how hard and what angle we're biting down, and also to help identify the shape/consistency of the things we're biting down on.
@Finnattentive Roasted veggies sound nice for dinner but also do I want to try my hand at model building even though I need to finish my quarnanskein cowl. The red dutch oven is on the counter, maybe I should use that?
@adhd_author I kind of want to go on a thing about how my ten-year writer's block vanished overnight on Jan 31st and I've spent the last two and a half months frantically writing at every opportunity, to the detriment of almost everything else. It is euphoria and mania and destruction

Did I completely forget Twitter was installed basically overnight despite spending at least an hour a day on it? Why yes, yes I did.
One of the things that freaks me out most about my brain is knowing that today's obsession could cease to exist in there tomorrow.
