🧵 1/ If the past 2 years have taught us anything, it’s that business as usual is broken. Remote work promised a revolution, but meetings simply morphed into Zooms. Shoulder taps multiplied into relentless DMs. Long office hours became a constant presence on Slack.
Here are @doist's 10 communication standards that have helped our remote team build the world's #1 productivity tool: @todoist ✅
- 100 teammates in 35 countries
- Averaging <2 hrs/wk of meetings
- Serving 40M+ customers in 19 languages

There is too much focus on doing many things at once. The real leverage comes out of extreme focus. A single app, one window, and only focusing on one task at a time.
There are also many studies on the harm of multi-tasking. It can take as much as 40% of your productive time (source will be linked below)...
We're glad to report that the team has successfully resolved the issue, and Twist should be working fully again.🌤️
We're sorry again for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and support.🙏

@balance_wtf @NotionHQ@SlackHQ Thanks for the kind words, Alex!
It's strange how some psychologically sophisticated companies prioritize engagement over focus, even when it's detrimental to the well-being of their users.
But with growing awareness, change is definitely possible!
