@ComradeWatchdog@dipperid Cheering and pointing out the irony of the situation are not the same thing. Weaponizing the state to target political opponents is not good. It’s crazy how you can be targeted by a fascist government but it’s “left-wing” smear campaigns that are the real issue.
@timbeardsux@dipperid It’s interesting that you can be targeted by a government that is not liberal, yet you still find liberals at fault. I don’t think pointing this kind of irony out is the same as celebrating. Obviously, weaponizing the state to target political opponents is not good.
@dmonaej Generally, I would say yes it’s a bad idea. However, it all kinda depends on your income, how much you owe on your car and student loans, and any other debts you may have. I would try other options first before resorting to withdrawing from a 401K.
@MadelaineLucyH I think this applies more towards women than men. Men value beauty more than intelligence and a woman who is smarter, typically, isn’t a deal breaker for a man. However, for women it’s the opposite.
@GoodTimesArie@Jacke_Bee@AOC@SenLouiseLucas In theory, yes but enforcement, exposure, and binding reforms only work if there’s a way to force compliance. In the current state, side A controls all enforcement mechanisms and is willing to defy any potential reforms, so there’s no incentive to change course.
@GoodTimesArie@Jacke_Bee@AOC@SenLouiseLucas Thanks for your response. The issue here is that it just creates a different problem. If side A can gerrymander and side B won’t, then there’s no reason for side A not to gerrymander. Rather than preventing self-destruction, restraint just allows side B to be destroyed.
@GoodTimesArie@Jacke_Bee@AOC@SenLouiseLucas This is a genuine question. Where do you draw the line? I get where you’re coming from, but at a certain point you have to push back. If one side does it and the other side just rolls over, that’s not virtuous; it’s stupidity.
This is not an easy video to post.
I was let go from Turning Point USA, and while I’m grateful for the opportunities I had, I can’t ignore what I witnessed. Especially how employees are treated and the direction the organization is moving in.
I’m not here to be bitter. I’m here to be honest. This video is the beginning of me telling the truth, as much as I legally can.
I’m speaking up because I know I’m not the only one who’s felt this way and our First Amendment right matters, too.
@DarkMatter2525@IamSean90@ChrisRGun Also he didn’t even call for body cams to be banned. He argued that they don’t actually address the police violence issue. Plus he even points out that many democrats are pushing for body cams, so that kinda defeats the idea of the left wanting them banned.
@GiaPaige My guess is because politics is treated like a team sports kind of thing. If you aren’t on my team then you are supporting the other team. I think sometimes people forget that the majority of people choose not to play the politics game in the first place.
For a psychology course at the University Oklahoma, Samantha Fulnecky was asked to write a 650-word essay reacting to an article about how people are perceived based on societal expectations of gender.
In her essay, Fulnecky argued that traditional gender roles should not be considered stereotypes. She cited the Bible to support her stance that eliminating gender in society would be "detrimental" because that would put people "farther from God's original plan for humans."
She received zero points out of 25 on the essay. Transgender professor, Mel Curtis, said Ms. Fulnecky, failed to use empirical evidence/and called parts of her essay offensive.
"To call an entire group of people 'demonic' is highly offensive, especially a minoritized population," the instructor wrote in the online grading platform.
Fulnecky says she followed the assignment guidelines and should not be penalized for her religious viewpoints. OU officials point to the formal grade-appeal process as the student awaits a decision.
We at Turning Point OU stand with Samantha. We should not be letting mentally ill professors around students.
Clearly this professor lacks the intellectual maturity to set her own bias aside and take grading seriously. Professors like this are the very reason conservatives can't voice their beliefs in the classroom. Kuddos to Samantha for leading by example and standing up for what she believes in. @UofOklahoma , do better!

@mbappe_spurs@RickKoeppen@SnapTheJapnese@stelzner_n1150 I think J6 didn’t move the needle because a lot of people believed, and still believe, the lies about election fraud. Plus, many of them don’t know anything about the fake elector scheme.
@kristenmag If you are willing to abandon your previous beliefs because a commentator said something mean, did you ever really believe them in the first place?
