Finishing things off with “the Man in the High Castle”. America 1962. Slavery is legal. USA lost the war & Japan and Germany are in power. Thought provoking book. Philip K Dick is a master of the word. #booksdxb #reading

“The Passage” by Justin Cronin shows an interesting take on vampires. No sparkly, cute, dark and sexy vamps here. Oh and there’s also a secret US government facility and shenanigans that keep the story going until the last page. Well rounded characters all around #booksdxb

Next up “A Horse Walks Into a Bar”. Difficult beginning to deal with watching a comedian crash and burn, but it gets better.
If you stick with it, you’ll be pleasantly surprised in most cases.
Can make you emotional in parts as well,so make sure you have a box of Kleenex nearby!
