@yua_subgo@30R9gmaMUy3guDJ They gave him 2 extra days off. There’s no excuse for this type of performance. Except they need to stop having Rushing catch him because he’s allowed 14 runs now with Rushing as the catcher.
@TheTrollMiester They’re trying to force the Ohtani-Rushing combo, but it’s clear that they don’t have any chemistry. Rushing doesn’t call the game Shohei wants and Shohei doesn’t trust him.
@bandakob@30R9gmaMUy3guDJ Lol, not a hater, but I believe he could’ve really been the greatest. The more I watch him, I feel like he doesn’t really want it. He OK with being the best of his era, but not of all time. That upsets me as a fan.
@TheTrollMiester@SummonMason As a DH, if you’re not getting hits or drawing walks, you pretty much lose WAR because unlike the position players (at least the ones aren’t bad defensively). That’s why it s hard for him to get 10+ WAR per season.
@SummonMason@TheTrollMiester I understand the baseball season has ebbs and flows especially at the MLB level, he has such a high variance in his form as hitter. It’s tough watch when he’s really bad.
@bandakob@30R9gmaMUy3guDJ Do you even watch the games? He’s stinking it up recently. That’s all we’re saying. Dude looked like he was getting close to 1.000 OPS and all of sudden starts stinking.
@bandakob@sayo_ku_teino Dude, you’re a mess. Meanwhile, Ohtani is 0-3 and hasn’t even hit a ball out of the infield. Hopefully the next AB is better (had to say that in case he actually gets a hit).
@bandakob Only 1 of those pitches was a strike. Yordan or Soto would never swing at those pitches. Even Edman has a HR on this pitcher. He just needs to be patient and his walks. These are slow pitches, this is not Misiorowski he’s facing.
