Today, Young ES students rocked their in-school expedition showcases! They received valuable feedback from peers to help perfect their presentation skills and to practice before our community showcase next week.

Our Community Planting Day at our TR Young campus was a huge success! Thanks to @DOEE_DC for their support with the RiverSmart outdoor learning lab grant. This space will reduce rainwater runoff and serve as a learning space for 4G during their Anacostia River expedition.

We are proud of 4G students Eliza, Clara, and Jack, who held an origami sale yesterday after being inspired by their Anacostia Watershed Expedition. They met with neighbors and shared the importance of protecting the Anacostia. They raised $61 that will benefit the @anacostiaws
