Cruiser vs. Cruiser combat action!
p.s. Sorry for the hiatus. Been super busy with college and other life events.

"Use meshes for cool effects!" they said. "Meshes are super useful!" They said.
Me 2 days later: wth is stencil masking? What do you mean meshes don't have sorting layers like sprite renderers?
Summer classes also just started. yay....

@RunWTheWolves I've always considered making a dungeon crawler at some point. I loved playing Lethal Company, and making a 2D retro version of it might be an interesting idea. The UI looks amazing here, by the way. Good work on that!
@gridandpixels As a retro lover myself, this game looks amazing! However, I must say that the coin collecting sound is very high-pitched, and I could also tell that the sounds stack if the player collects multiple at the same time. Might just be me, but that might be worth taking a look at.
@TheLotanos You always have to make things like this very obvious. I heard recently that game tutorials have to be really specific because players will so often overlook things in your game, even if they're extremely obvious, which can be frustrating for the player.
@wxo516 This is so well done! Attacks are slow enough that it's still fair, but not so much that it's boring, and the attacks look like they'll be a lot of fun to learn and dodge. The rhythm you have here is perfect!
@ivelsoul Excellent work on these. Very professional and pleasing to look at. AI isn't going to be replacing you anytime soon!
(Also, IDK how you function without a good cup of coffee in the morning, cause I can't!)
@KidbashSL Looks like it's a mix of various different styles. I saw retro style, stop animation, sections with smooth animations and characters that look like Tomodachis. Pretty interesting vibe you have here!
@KrakenCombo Hey, that's why most developers make games to begin with. Just making fun games! And even for those that don't, fun value is still a high priority. Nobody is going to buy a game that isn't fun, after all!
If I may ask, how'd you make this effect? I'm genuinely curious.
@asistersjourney Might sound strange, but this area reminds me a lot of the 'Waterfall' area in Undertale, just way more detailed. Same color scheme, and, you know, waterfall. Nice work on this!
@AngryGoblinDev I really like this area. It emits a sort of 'evil' and forlorn aura about it. It also looks a lot like the corruption biome from Terraria. Pretty nice!
@legal_cube Man, this reminds me of those worm bosses from Terraria Calamity a lot. Devourer of Gods, is that you?!
I've always wondered how they achieved that kind of 'worm like' movement. It's really cool!
