Literacy in an English Language Arts classroom isn’t only what you can read and write, it should involve your interactions with other students and whether you are talking about a news article or drawing a scene from a book you need a plethora of literacy skills #edr321
If students are engaged and interested in what they are learning they will be much more willing to learn, in my opinion for project based learning to be most effective you need to provide students with a solid foundation to help reach this goal! #pbl#edr321
Grading based off completion often results in grading based off work ethic not comprehension. Work ethic is important, but make sure students actually understand the material as well. #edr321

A 2 week lesson is often more dependent on the previous 2 years than those 2 weeks for the level of success with the concept. If students don’t have the right foundational knowledge their mastery of the subject can’t grow. #edr321
