Rachel Reeves says that "at the election people voted for a whole new approach."
I think that's probably true.
Also sure as anything that this isn't new - it's failed trickle down economics all over again.
We spent years telling people to open up about their mental health, it’s good to talk . Now because it suits a political narrative poor mental health is being framed as made up, easy to recover from, ‘ just bad nerves’ it’s the 1950s again isn’t it ?
this is just the SAME EXACT THING that every government has done for the last 40 years; gut itself, abase itself before the worst people in the world, rip up some more regulations, sell off some more copper in the walls.
LOOK AROUND YOU, HOW IS THIS GOING?
The most dangerous thing in this ‘Centre for Social Justice' report is its disability denial. Essentially, they are saying mental illness is something that can always be aided with short-term interventions rather than being something that can endure and disable.

Journalists, questions for tomorrow:
- How much is due to fraud, and how much is due to ERROR?
- How much of that error is caused by the labyrinthine complexity of the benefits system?
- what of the warnings from mental health orgs that snooping laws will worsen MH?
Cutting benefits would be the opposite of growth @RachelReevesMP
Disabled people are not economically inactive as @leicesterliz suggests
We boost the economy too
Without PIP, we wouldn’t be able to engage
Perhaps you’ll listen to economists

If you're going to deliberately spread false information and harmful stereotypes about disabled people and those one benefits, then guess what? I will have 'an attitude', I will be rude because quite frankly we get way worse every single day. I won't stand for it anymore.
This is Labour’s problem in a nutshell.
When a minister is asked about 3/4 of Brits thinking the economy is doing poorly she says they’re wrong - & that the IMF & PWC think otherwise.
This is how most of our political class thinks. They’ve zero idea.
It’s wrong that….
• Children in poverty
• Fuel poor pensioners
• The sick
• The disabled
Suffer because Rachel Reeves crashed the economy.
She has to stop taking her failures out on others. Tax the super rich instead.
Many reasons but a key one is: these people spent their entire time in opposition knifing each other, sending pissy comments and wild claims to lobby journos and convincing themselves and each other that the public think funding services is woke student politics bullshit.
