@hswapnil @arvindcanchi a former partner would almost exclusively tell patients they need to go vegan or they will end up on dialysis. now that I've inherited those patients I've been able to make a great therapeutic alliance because I DON'T do this, so who's to say if pushing veganism is good or bad?

#askrenal firm subcutaneous nodules in HD patient on dependent pannus/thigh, intermittent pain with position change, no cutaneous manifestations. treating as calciphylaxis given risk, but any benefit for needle/core biopsy vs punch biopsy since skin is clear?
