Great pick by Calgary to close out Round 1 as they take Cullen Potter potentially the fastest player in the draft.

Had Potter at 13th incredibly skilled even at high pace. Fell due to size. Massive swing by Calgary. #2025NHLDraft

Love this pick at 31 for the Kings. Brzustewicz is a player I’ve been higher on than most this season. Playing alongside Sam Dickinson he played a complimentary role.

Would love to see him lean into the offensive side of the game away from Dickinson next season.

Great get for the Senators at 23 snagging Logan Hensler who I had ranked at 9.

A fantastic skater and puck mover who shows flashes of more offense to be had. At this point in the draft great value.

And just like that the Islanders scoop up Eklund. Love this pick for the Islanders taking the faller especially with 2 other picks. Highly skilled with two-way skills as well.
