Rebel Football Captains for 2026

Braydon Hill & Zach Dudas

They earned it, now comes the responsibility
But leadership doesn't stop with 2 guys

We have a locker room full of guys capable of leading

Title or no title we need everyone leading

2026 FB team is coming together at the right time

[Greg Schwarz @NFRebelPower]

Electric start to the season from our guys-this group has come out with real energy, urgency, and purpose.

This offseason we made a clear commitment to doing things differently by prioritizing SPEED, keeping athletes fresh, and making every rep count.

Huge thank you to Coach @ErikBecker42 at Daniel Hand Football, Brad Dixon for sharing what they’ve built and helping us implement Tony Holler’s @pntrack Feed the Cats philosophy. This profession is better when coaches share and grow together.

The results are already clear: OUR GUYS ARE FASTER. ⚡️

Even more proud of our staff for embracing change and challenging old habits-and our players for buying in right away.

Focused summer. Fresh legs. Fast football.

Now we keep building.

[Greg Schwarz @NFRebelPower]

Wrapped up preseason yesterday with a great barbecue

Huge thank you to our Gridiron Board for putting it together

The food was great, but the best part was seeing the guys laugh and enjoy time together

2026 Season began today
And after 20+ years coaching Fortunate & Grateful for the chance to coach each one of these 55 kids, for the families who trust us with their sons, and for a staff that gives everything to this program.

We have no idea what this season is going to bring
We don't know what plays will be remembered
We don't know what adversity we'll face or the victories we'll celebrate
We don't know which moments become stories we tell years from now

But It never gets old & That's why there is nowhere else we'd rather be

[Greg Schwarz @NFRebelPower]

Ask any Rebel pictured here what they learned today at Shrub Oak International School for Autism

Communication, Patience Empathy Leadership
Adaptability Teamwork.

While most teenagers were sleeping in, our players were developing life skills that matter far beyond football during our visit to Shrub Oak International School for Autism

College coaches: If you're looking for young men who compete with character, lead with humility, and represent your program the right way, take a look at New Fairfield Football. If they work this hard OFF the field, just imagine what they'll do ON the field

Proud doesn't begin to describe how I feel watching these young men represent our program, our school, and our community

Lifter of the Week💪🏼

Michael Polito

🏃Track

SHOCKED to hear this was his 1st time recognized for this- Day 1 foxhole mentality

Polito’s old school effort/leadership has set the TONE for a great summer

A week in the life of a Rebel Football player. ❤️💙

Three days at youth camp. Early mornings in the weight room. Speed work under a Rebel Blue Sky. All of it building toward Friday Night Lights.

This is what we’re building: culture, effort, and accountability.

College coaches—take notice. New Fairfield Rebel Football is producing kids who work, lead, and compete the right way.

Proud of this group.

As we close camp, I want to say thank you.

Thank you to our players for showing up, leading, and doing the work behind the scenes to make this camp run the right way.

And thank you to everyone who helped make this week what it was.

Now we get back to work
