Perpetuals have no such settlement date and no expiration so they have funding rates for longs vs shorts depending on if spot is above or below the exchange. Hope this helps.

@AlexMasmej @nanexcool Alex you are right, it was over peg. But it has to do with supply and demand and there not being enough dai for the CDP holders to close out longs. March 12th peg went bad because every cdp holder got liquidated at once and there was a max exodus to DAI. Demand broke the peg.
