@trojanblue92@RobbieTobeck@WSU_Cougar_Pres@BrettBlankens16 True, however, you don't need billionaires. That's all my point is. Those schools you mention are succeeding by donations in the hundreds of thousands and millions. Doesn't really matter if donor net worth is in the millions or billions.
@RobbieTobeck@trojanblue92@WSU_Cougar_Pres@BrettBlankens16 It's a great conversation. Good news is, college ftbl isn't a "billionaire" sport. It doesn't take billionaires to compete. WSU simply needs the right sponsorships in place from the right companies and to push harder with high-earning income earners. Tweaks, not an overhaul.
Each donor should analyze the benefit of โtax deductibleโ in their personal tax returns and compare it to the % of their donation actually available to student athletes. While the CAF is a valuable resource, remembr that $0.96 of every $1 to @CougCollective goes to studnt athlts!
Hey Cougs, lots of questions regarding the tax-deductible CAF NIL. There are now two donation buckets under the CAF brand name:
1) Tax-deductible CAF NIL where you can designate the specific sports for your donation - link here: https://t.co/JyMG4GzS43
2) Tax-deductible CAF for student athlete scholarships - link here: https://t.co/XyIhS0vFOs
Both of these are under the WSU athletic department. Feel free to DM me with questions. Go Cougs!
@Jon_Haarlow@PapaThrow@WazzuRaid@GregWWoods Cougs have a very unique opportunity to be in the CFP next year by winning the Pac-12. Would be great to secure a coaching staff that has playoff experience at either the college or NFL level, to help lead the guys in 2026! Go Cougs!
@zacyourback@CoachB_H Couldnโt the creamery make it, the Collective buys a large quantity at wholesale, and sell it on the NIL site at retail? Seems like that wouldnโt be any different than selling sweatshirts or coffee, right?
