@SMallisee @GetKahoot I’ve had similar success stories using @GetKahoot for this! There are also hundreds of pre-made reviews on @quizizz that I’ve had equal success with.

I recently followed @MathInTheNews and have found that having discussions about their tweets is a great way to start class! The tweets are timely, engaging, and the math is relevant to what my students find interesting.

Super Mario Quadratics is one of the many #desmos activities I use to engage students when graphing equations. This one created by @MrJohnRowe works great when learning and reviewing the characteristics of parabolas!

#ACT state testing is next week. How are you preparing your Ss? I’ve found 3 to 4 question bell ringers a couple times a week works great. There are also several great @quizizz my student have enjoyed. Interested to hear more great ideas! #acttestprep

1. Take any normal worksheet with review questions.

2. Cut the sheet into slips.

3. Hide those slips in plastic eggs.

4. Toss the eggs in a trash can.

5. Stop wasting your time and your students' time with worksheets.
