@AngryMariners@StacyRost Dawg. The Mariners are in first place and have been ravaged with injuries. I think people are more tired of the podcast/twitter fans constantly complaining about EVERYTHING than the Mariners building a contender with a top 5 farm system. Go outside.
@El_Roberto_Jr@brenlow24@shannondrayer It could also be the fact that hamstrings get strained very often, especially in baseball, because sprinting and slowing down frequently is very tough on hamstrings.
@FrankJa67042302@mcuban@Devlinside123 You should argue with mark fuckin Cuban some more, Frank. I’m sure you have significantly more credibility and experience than him.
@fungohitter31@A_Jude@MarinersGlaze The team is built for the playoffs. Injuries made our biggest offensive acquisition pretty much useless so far…and damaged the high leverage part of the bullpen. Creativity is a way to patchwork through it and keep those guys rested.
@fungohitter31@A_Jude@MarinersGlaze I think winning a WS will matter more than missing out on 1-2 innings one out of every 5 starts. It’s equal treatment and it’s possible we see extremely good results over the course of the season. Baseball rewards ingenuity, perhaps this is the next good strategy.
@fungohitter31@A_Jude@MarinersGlaze You just proved my point. One day a week, the bullpen doesn’t get used because we have 2 combined starters pitch 9 full innings.
@fungohitter31@A_Jude@MarinersGlaze Dawg they’ll throw like 1-2 less innings every time they piggypitch. SPs go 6-7 innings in the majority of their starts. The difference will not impact their innings total in a significant way.
It will, however, help keep a depleted bullpen fresh.
