@ElviaMalagon@ArianeIWPR As leading gender wage gap experts, can you please explain why the gender wage gap is larger for racialized women, women who are newcomers, women with disabilities, Indigenous women, and trans women? Thank you so much.
@ElviaMalagon@ArianeIWPR As experts focusing on the gender wage gap, can you help explain how factors such as education, job tenure, firm size, occupation, industry, and demographics, can only explain about 30% of the gap in Ontario. What explains the other 70%? Thank you!
The following link addresses the gender wage gap in Ontario, and how factors such as education and job tenure only explain about 30% of the gap. 70% remains unexplained. https://t.co/AfRubVlVRN

It is easy to get lost in the world of digital technology, more specifically social medias such as Twitter, Reddit and Instagram where content is populated endlessly with every scroll. #EM203
@EM203BSpriggs Hello Brittany, great concept map! You have organized it very well! A problem I have identified is the addition of cultural barriers in accessing mental health services. This also connects to your branch of stigma and mental health. #em203problems
@em203brodrigues Hello, Bradley! The first example that came to mind when thinking about providing and consuming information simultaneously is the classroom or a lecture! The professor teaches to provide information and the students listen attentively and take notes to consume information!
@EM203vmagolon Hey Veroncia, long time no see! Hope you are doing well. I agree, as digital natives, the idea of connectivism has stimulated the creation of many forms of media to connect, learn, and share! My favourite social media is Twitter, what is yours? #EM203Robin
@EM203FrancesM Hi Frances, I have also found the first few weeks extremely captivating and full of growth. My group's focus was the "Learning by Doing" theory, which breaks down into experiential learning and apprenticeships! #EM203Robin
@JaypWLU Hi Jay, as far back as I can remember I was using technology to learn and play. The digital age shaped our childhoods in much greater capacities than previous generations, and I suspect technological growth and new forms of media will be used to help our kids learn too!
@EM203JRaymond Hi Jamie! I think a prime example of technology being incorporated in our education system is the usage of Zoom, the leading modern enterprise video communications platform, and the ability to collaborate virtually!
Within the first couple weeks of #EM203Robin with Professor @RobinPersadWL, I learned that the Internet is a catalyst for many innovations in communication, collaboration, and creative advances in learning. Furthermore, the concept of Learning by Doing was explored. Cheers!
