@rockreborn22@fedcalderon7@johncdirks When Christ is clearly the better typological fit for the ark. Two angels in the tomb where his head and feet were. In him is the mercy seat, the Manna, the Priest, the Word, the very ark itself. If Mary were the ark I would like to see where the ark was empty in the OC.
@CoreyJMahler Note also he was speaking from an actual rock that overlooked the 'gates of Hades', a real place of pagan faith. He built his church by conquering the powers of darkness through defeating death itself.
@BW6792505937146@dalepartridge@kangminlee I dont think natives want foreigners to invade and take over. Whites and natives have history, and peace and respect for the most part.
@abhisheksable05@ArgentoGle83147@ChristandGuitar@johncdirks@JPuncut Yes, Christ is the ark. In Him is the mercy seat. His flesh is the veil, His body the Temple. He gives light to the candles of the churches, everlasting life (manna), on and on. The shadows of the OC were about Him as He explained to the disciples.
@ArgentoGle83147@ChristandGuitar@johncdirks@JPuncut Christ is the ark. He is the manna, the Priest, and the Word. Mary carried the ark like the priests. He is the mercy seat, not Mary. What is an ark that has been emptied of its contents?
Irenaeus compared the ark to Christ's body. Makes sense and fits the typology well.
@LowStudies@johncdirks Where, praytell, is there a NC command to create images? We have moved from shadow to light, from beast to Man. Creating new shadows isn't the direction. We are the temple, the precious stones, the living sacrifice as we emulate Christ. We are the image of Christ on earth.
