inde navarette is the star of obsession… she has the most lines, the most screen time, and the movie is about HER character… she’s not a supporting actress
Rewatched ET for the first time in decades. Still holds up and is just blocked so well for some really great shots. Still don’t like the frog scene but Harrison Ford being there is fun. It’s also really funny watching any Spielberg movie after seeing Fabelmans.
Donald Trump says Israel would not exist if he wasn’t POTUS:
“If it weren’t for the United States of America, with me [as President], Israel would not exist right now, it would’ve been blown off of the face of the earth, 100%”
That scene could be read as relief or annoyed that he couldn’t actually say his feelings. It’s not 100% one way or the other especially since Curry did multiple takes and stitched them together
Absolutely not. Real Nikki never thought of bear that way. She only liked him as good friends and she was genuinely relieved when she asked him at the car if he liked her and he lied and said just as friends. Bear never had a chance.

I’m asking as someone who’s a) not really a cinephile, and b) likes a lot of Spielberg movies.
Project Hail Mary is a very likable film but is no where close to that average. The fact that it couldn’t decide when to end alone makes it no where close to a masterpiece
Congratulations to the Knicks, but can we have a serious conversation?
A championship parade on the same day as Regents exams feels like a setup. NYC students have worked all year for these tests.
Move the parade to Friday. The city will still celebrate.
I remember the TL swearing that Raye album was a masterpiece and the greatest thing ever but then you listen to it and it’s the most annoying theater kid try hard shit

They’ve always been entertaining. Film Twitter just is pretentious as fuck and absolutely hate when people have legitimate differing opinions and they actually stand by them
