@Duzza180 You’ve proven over several years that you’re one of the really great players. It’s not up for question. We’re all behind you...all of us true darts fans!
@CharlotteHawkns@ClassicFM Thank you, Charlotte, for a delightful introduction to Classic FM yesterday evening! I hope that Abschied (Farewell) isn’t an omen for my future!...I hope you enjoy my Les Jeux d’Eau a la Villa d’Este from the same album. Another gem of a smooth classic.
Well it’s definitely autumn... the heating’s on & the boots are out! Come & join me this evening on @ClassicFM for some music that’ll warm your heart - I’ve Samuel Barber, Debussy & Mascagni, plus my Young Classical Star this week is pianist @Tyler_J_Hay ✨🎶
@fouldsy147 I don’t understand how snooker fans can ever find these things boring! 2 brilliant and experienced players doing everything they possibly can to find a way to win.
@fouldsy147 We think of Hendry but I always wonder about how well JP might have done if he’d practiced a little more towards the end of his career and stayed on a few more years. What a wonderful talent he was! Big favourite of mine!
@wmarybeard Are there any known examples of ancient people buying slaves in order to simply free them? Or to protect them from the atrocities that somebody else might inflict? Could be a naive, modern thinking question...
@CrossEyedPiano I have this kind of dream sometimes. Or perhaps playing a recital with a work I haven’t practiced. They’re not far off of being nightmares!
