@JAm29JOSH@PatStaresAt It wouldn't go hard at all. It would be the same bland over-the-shoulder gameplay we've gotten from literally every other remake.
@ElesirArt This was a big drawback for me, and at least part of the reason I didn't really like any of the character designs. It seems cowardly to make all the str-based characters girls, but then not give them any visible muscle.
@kulanwolf@ElesirArt Yeah, 5E is kinda gamey compared to say 3.5e, where the stats were more reasonable. Personally, I feel it hurts immersion as well as diversity.
@sigmaminded @xurbanxcowboyx It's more-so about existing in a place where people see other people daily, especially those different from them. It's harder to become a bigot if you're exposed to different types lf people every day and understand that they're just trying to live their lives just like you.
@xurbanxcowboyx@TheStygian That's the thing, though. There legally can't be other dreams because so many cities have laws forbidding any development except single-family zoning.
@PatStaresAt They conveniently had a bug that prevented them from requiring account linking, right up until the refund period expired for the initial hype wave.
@PatStaresAt Hey, how do make them stop? Because I swear to god, if this warrior doesn't stop running up to me and using the launcher WHILE I'M CASTING, I'm going to send her back to her Arisen with a rotten piece of meat.
@Haohi_Oterin No joke, the first time I hit the credits in ARR, I almost threw up. After sitting through such a dumpster fire of an experience, to see an MMO roll credits like it's a movie and imply that they were actually proud of what they did was viscerally upsetting.
@PatStaresAt Just read the wiki. Never play anything. Boil literal months of gameplay into a 10 minute read. Become a bank of lore knowledge for content you will never experience.
