I have a friend who had her pancreas removed & is now Type 1. Does anyone have any resources for this type of diabetes??? She has extreme periods of stubborn lows & highs. I think it may be called brittle diabetes. I can’t find anyone who specializes in this specifically.
@BazingaKatie I can relate to this. I was dx’d at 5 & whenever we’d be out to eat, my dad would make me go to the bathroom to test my sugar or do an injection. It made me feel shameful.
What do all you fellow t1d peeps do prior to spinning?
I have a Peleton & im trying to find the “sweet spot” before taking a 30-min class. So far, drinking a banana protein shake & waiting for my bs to get to ~250 gets me though 90% - 98% of class 😱
the only resources I can find on *type 3c diabetics* are on people who still have their pancreas, unfortunately. (Fortunately for them, unfortunately for us lol)

@Type1journey@BenCostiloe Oh wow. Good to know! Glad it helps you. Weed will often make my hands & feet extremely cold so I wonder why that happens to me.
